SAPA Roof Glazing 5050

Characteristics

SAPA 5050 roof glazing system consists of 50 mm wide insulated aluminium profiles. The system has a longitudinal insulating strip which provides good insulation and support for the glass holders. The horizontal, vertical and dividing profiles come in different depths. Rebate for single glass or for double and triple glazing units.

The 5050 system makes it possible to give the roof virtually any form. Glazed roofs can have large spans without compromising the static stability.

SAPA 5050 roof glazing is also available in an uninsulated version with a single glass rebate.

Highly customizable

Sapa Roof Glazing 5050 can be used to create almost any shape of roof (single-pitch, saddle or cantilever). In static loading, glazed roofs can be built with large spans.

Performance

Frame profiles and dividing profiles are 50 mm wide and contain a longitudinal insulator to maintain a low U-value. External glazing beads are 7 mm high and ensure stability and good water run-off.

Low carbon footprint solution

Incorporates 75% recycled materials and is 95% recyclable, reducing its environmental impact. Hydro CIRCAL® (composed of at least 75% end-of-life aluminium) has a carbon footprint of 1.9 kg CO₂ eq./kg of aluminium, which is up to 80% lower than the European average for primary aluminium.
