SAPA by Hydro lanserer nordisk konkurranse for innovative og bærekraftige byggeprosjekter
En ny nordisk konkurranse som fremhever arkitekter og prosjekter som satser på innovasjon og bærekraft i byggebransjen
SAPA by Hydro proudly announces the launch of the SAPA Awards, a new Nordic competition that highlights architects and projects driving innovation and sustainability in the building industry. The competition is open to architects across the Nordic and Baltic regions and offers a unique platform to showcase projects that are shaping the built environment of the future.

SAPA Awards features two main categories — Sustainability and Architecture — where entries are evaluated based on creativity, functionality, aesthetics, and environmental impact. To ensure high quality and credibility, all submissions are assessed by an experienced and well-established local jury in Scandinavia, consisting of leading architects and experts in sustainable construction.
The winners not only gain recognition across the Nordic region but also receive an exclusive opportunity to represent the region on the international stage. All winning projects are automatically nominated for the World Architecture Award (WATA), where international projects compete and winners are selected by a global panel of experts.
“With the SAPA Awards, we want to give Nordic architects a springboard to the international scene. We aim to highlight projects that not only make a strong visual impression, but also take responsibility for the environment and the future of building,” says Johan Strand, CEO of SAPA by Hydro.
The competition period is now open, and all architects in the Nordic region are invited to participate. More information about the competition rules, categories, and jury can be found at SAPA Awards.
