SAPA Awards 2026 General terms

The SAPA Awards is a competition that focuses on recognising and promoting the achievements of skilled professionals. These awards reward your most beautiful recent achievements based on architectural design, technical expertise, innovation and sustainability. The competition is divided into seven categories, for which you can submit your achievement(s). You cannot register for the ‘Sustainability’ category: every project is eligible for this award.

CHANCE TO WIN A SAPA AWARD

The SAPA awards recognise the most beautiful recent projects featuring SAPA solutions. Your projects will be judged on architectural design, technicality, innovation and sustainability by a professional, independent jury. The competition is divided into seven categories. You can submit your project(s) for each category. There will be only one winner per category. The professional jury will be composed of external experts from various fields: architects and construction engineers.

A PROFESSIONAL JURY

ENTER THE SAPA AWARDS

It takes just three simple steps to enter your project for the second SAPA Awards. Your projects may be no more than five years old. Yes, you can submit multiple entries to participate in the competition! However, there will be only one winner per category and only one award will be presented per participating company.

• 3. ‘Public - Study & Leisure’

• 4. ‘Health’

• 5. ‘Work & Mixed Use’

• 6. ‘Imagine Beyond Limits’

• 7. ‘Sustainability’

You cannot submit entries for the Sustainability category. This award will be presented by the jury to the entry that stands out in the selection in terms of sustainability. The combination of building materials used, the architectural concept, the living concept and, of course, the use of Hydro CIRCAL for the exterior joinery are the criteria that the jury will take into account.

Pre-registration starts on 15 August 2025. Prepare your file in three steps. Please note that only one winner will be selected per category and each participant is only eligible for one award in this edition. So don't wait too long, gather all the necessary information and send your files as complete as possible by email to sapa-awards@hydro.com.

The deadline for submitting applications is 1 April 2026.

GENERAL TERMS

• You can submit projects that have been completed since 2021 and have been carried out using SAPA products. This means that the projects may be no more than four years old.

• You may submit multiple applications to participate in the competition!

• To be accepted, the file must be complete and the consent form must be signed by both the architect and the client.

• The file must be sent by email to sapa-awards@hydro.com before 1 March 2024.

• Basic contents of a complete file:

  • A descriptive slogan for the project and a text of 10 lines describing the project

  • The SAPA solutions used and explicitly mentioned

  • At least 5 photos of the project

  • The signed agreement of the architect and the client that the file and accompanying images may be used for commercial purposes by SAPA and Hydro Building Systems worldwide.
