Modern, sleek and rational
Modern family home with smart design and harmonious living comfort
This newly built family home is a prime example of modern, sleek and rational design, with a focus on maximising the available space and harmonious family life.
Spacious and functional design This spacious home offers an abundance of living space. Large rooms with a smart layout ensure a relaxed family life and a welcoming household. On the street side, the house presents itself as sober and secluded, contributing to privacy and security. On the other side, the house opens up completely with generous glazing, offering beautiful views. All rooms have sliding glass doors that open onto the terrace with an adjacent swimming pool, creating a natural transition between indoors and outdoors.
Unique Two-Wing Design The house consists of two wings – a day and a night section – which are connected by an indoor/outdoor swimming pool. This pool ensures that living in the house flows seamlessly into life in the great outdoors, further enhancing the relationship between architecture and landscape.
Atmospheric Minimalist Interior The family asked the architect to create a sleek, minimalist home combined with an atmospheric interior. The result is a spacious home that is sleek and simple, yet impressive.

Special Features and Technical Challenges
What makes this project special is the use of Artline XL minimalist sliding windows, large glass sections and a metal guillotine sliding window. SAPA was the ideal choice for this project because of their system solutions for every application. The collaboration with the architect and the client went very well, from design to realisation, including the fine-tuning of the finishing details.
One of the technical challenges was the installation of the motorised Artline XL sliding window and the metal guillotine window. The most difficult aspect was installing the large glass sections, taking into account the accessibility of the site.
Sustainable Only sustainable materials such as double and triple glazing and aluminium were used in the production and construction of this house. This contributes to an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient home.
