NRGY HV

Inward opening integrated window

NRGY is an inward opening window-system, specifically designed with minimal visual aspect opening vents, for integration with all variants of the NRGY 62 curtain wall family.

Description NRGY HV

  • Inward opening window system, with 2 opening possibilities: Side hung casement & Turn before tilt
  • Dedicated thermal adaptor profile for simple glazing into the curtain wall
  • Structurally bonded glass units minimise the external appearance
  • Non-stepped glass units, for use with: NRGY ST, NRGY HL/VL, NRGY FL
  • Glass thickness 33 mm – 41 mm
  • Up to 150 kg glass weight
  • Security clips ensure total safety

Performance

Air Tightness

Class 4 (600 pa)

Air Tightness

Air tightness refers to the amount of air that will travel through a window or door system in its closed position, both under positive and negative pressure.

Water Tightness

E 1200

Water Tightness

The test applies specified amounts of water spray to the outside face of the window (combination) while incrementally increasing the air pressure. The result defines the test pressure, time and position of any water infiltration.

Wind Resistance

C3 (1200 Pa)

Wind Resistance

The test applies a series of positive and negative test air pressures. Measurements and inspections are made to asses relative frontal deflection and resistance to damage from wind loads.

Thermal insulation

Uf-value = 1,7 W/M2K

Thermal insulation

Results of the calculation of the thermal transmittance of frame profiles and of the linear thermal transmittance of their junction with glazing or opaque panels

The NRGY concept

Like all Sapa products, the NRGY façade system is focused on simplicity and minimalism, with a lean towards saving time.

An innovative concept, with modular flexibility in both appearance and performance, where framing widths of 52 mm and 62 mm can be connected to one another; where the external skin can be stripped of its aluminium coat for an all glass appearance; and where the insulative core of the system can be enhanced to meet the thermal demands of future buildings.

  • an intelligent profile shape, combining strength with minimal width
  • straight cut production, fused with patented dry connectors
  • factory assembly
  • screw free connection system
  • integral connection pins
  • 3 step approach to thermal performance
  • self sealing gaskets
  • faster glazing through permanent clamping components
  • choice between mullion or pane drainage
